As a conventional broadcaster with over twenty years of on-air and production experience, Keith has significant 'inside the newroom' experience, having worked in both news and sports as an anchor, reporter and professional videographer experienced at shooting, editing and producing features. At SendtoNews, Keith uses his extensive knowledge of newsroom workflow to support our media side customers and their use of our system. Keith is also actively involved in the development of our strategic partnerships.

Peter has a rich interdisciplinary programming background spanning more than 25 years. From circuit board design and manufacturing to assembly language programming and the development of embedded systems, databases, Internet applications... he has truly done it all. Peter has developed a reputation for his gifted analytical skills and ability to develop solutions "outside of the box". He is responsible for the design and implementation of SendtoNews' software systems and utilities.

Michael is an accomplished, results-driven marketing professional with senior level experience on both the "agency" and "client" side of the advertising industry. At SendtoNews, Michael is primarily responsible for providing strategic media insight and developing the company's Media Product offerings targeted towards the advertising industry. He is also responsible for overseeing the monitoring/measuring processes used by SendtoNews to evaluate story distribution performance.
Victor Fani
Director, Government Services
With over 12 years of B2C and B2B sales experience, Victor is a successful senior sales professional with strong experience in international sales and business development. For SendtoNews, Victor is responsible for growing the company's Government Services division, which serves the multimedia distribution and content management requirements for all forms of government, from federal to municipal, in both Canada and the USA. He is also setting up the processes for SendtoNews' sales department, including CRM tools and reporting, so that the department is able to scale appropriately as the company evolves.

Carson's primary responsibility is to bring some sanity to the development process at SendtoNews! Working closely with Peter Beblo and the rest of the development team, Carson ensures that our priorities are straight and that none of the bug fixes or great new development ideas fall through the cracks.

Leigh is a former television reporter, anchor and producer. Her career has taken her to all four corners of the United States, then back home to Canada. At SendtoNews, she is responsible for all aspects of account management as well as "spreading the word" about our great system and distribution services.
Gary Escudero

Gary is a software developer with over five years of experience designing, implementing and testing software utilizing a variety of languages and frameworks. Gary has been developing software for SendtoNews since October 2010. His previous experience, education and ability to adapt quickly to new challenges allow him to handle a variety of responsibilities varying from fixing bugs to implementing algorithms and designing new features.
Jason Vogt
Software Developer
Jason Vogt has over 20 years of programming experience in addition to teaching internet programming at two private colleges. He brings a wide range of programming knowledge to the team and has expertise in both Windows and Open Source development. Jason possesses strong problem solving skills and experience to translate business needs into technology solutions.
Kevin Polson
Graphics Designer
Kevin is a talented and highly creative graphics artist, designer and illustrator with 17+ years of professional experience in both traditional print and digital graphics design. At SendtoNews, Kevin is responsible for the company's brand management, as well as the production of all print and digital marketing collateral. He also plays a key role in the ongoing evolution of the company's public web site and multimedia management and distribution platform.
Michelle Wergeland

Michelle is a skilled administrator and financial manager with more than 15 years of experience within the British Columbia technology industry. Her experiences include extended involvement at both Carmanah Technologies and AbeBooks, two of Vancouver Island's most successful technology companies.
Katie Robertson
Marketing Coordinator
Katie Robertson is a fourth year student at the Gustavson School of Business pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce. She joined the SendtoNews team in January as part of a co-op partnership with the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Katie works closely with the VP of Marketing, performing a range of marketing support and administrative duties related to the daily operations of SendtoNews. She is also building out the co-op program in SendtoNews to enable a seamless ongoing transition between business students.

Greg is a senior executive and entrepreneur with nearly 15 years of experience and leadership in the media/communications and information technology industries. Greg's involvement with SendtoNews started in January 2011 as a strategic advisor. He came on board full-time as President in May.
Prior to his appointment at SendtoNews, Greg was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Seeker Solutions, where he was responsible for global sales and marketing strategies that resulted in a focused, recognized brand in the semantic, contextual-based search and machine learning (AI) industry. Greg also handled strategic planning and communications, as well as value-added OEM and reseller partnerships. He worked with clients and partners in Canada, the US and throughout Europe.
Previously, Greg was Managing Director for the recruiting firm The Mergis Group, running its British Columbia operations out of Vancouver. He also founded and led two businesses, BPG – Bobolo Publications Group Ltd. and Dream House Publications Ltd. Greg led Dream House from startup in 2001 to a multimillion dollar operation in seven years, earning him a 2006 ERNST & YOUNG Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist nomination.

Between 2000 and 2007, Art served as President and CEO of Carmanah Technologies Corporation, where he led the company's rapid transformation from a research and engineering start up with 12 employees and less than $1M in revenues to one of the world's fastest-growing renewable energy technology manufacturers with more than 250 employees and $60M+ in annual revenues. He was also instrumental in the company's transition to a public corporation (TSX: CMH) through a reverse takeover and was involved in two subsequent rounds of financing. Under his direction, Carmanah received more than fifty industry awards for business excellence and environmental leadership, while averaging annual revenue growth in excess of 80%.
Named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2006) for Canada's Pacific Region and the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre (VIATeC) Executive of the Year (2005), Art is one of western Canada's most influential technology executives. He is the Chairman of VIATeC board of directors and a past director of the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA).
Prior to his position at Carmanah, Art served as President of Sharp's Audio Visual, Western Canada's largest audio-visual technology company, where he lead the company through nearly 20x revenue growth. He is also trained as a commercial pilot.

Keith has been on the cutting edge of digital and Internet video technology and New Media in general since 1998. He has extensive knowledge of camera and editing, compression and file transfer technology.

In 1998, Marc became one of four original partners in Carmanah Technologies Corporation, a global leader in solar-powered LED lighting. He was responsible for all marketing functions until 2006, and during his tenure the company grew from $700,000 in annual sales to more than $60 Million. Carmanah became a public corporation on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2001 (TSX: CMH).
Marc has been the recipient of national recognition for his contribution and vision in the field of marketing, including the Canadian eBusiness Award in the category of "B2B Small Enterprise" (2003), and "Best Investor Relations for a Venture Exchange Company" (co-recipient, 2005) awarded by the internationally recognized IR Magazine. His work has also been published in a number of national and international trade magazines, periodicals and newspapers.

In 2001, David began working with Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX: CMH) and his communications programs set the groundwork for the company to successfully leverage its core solar-powered LED marine lighting technology into new vertical markets. He successfully engaged editorial coverage around the world, from the New York Times to BBC News, as well as spearheaded Carmanah's awards nominations; the company has been honoured with more than 60 awards, including Canadian Exporter of the Year (2006) a GLOBE Award, and BC Technology Company of the Year (2007).

From 1993 to 2000, Peter served as the Manager of Information Systems for The Law Society of British Columbia. From 2000 - 2002, Peter took on the role of Senior Technology Architect for the society, where he lead the development of the Juricert™ Registration System, an online application that provides digital credentials for law professionals (extensively used to this day in the land title transfer process).
In 2002, Peter founded Beblo Technologies Inc., a software development firm that has produced a wide range of client-side and web-based applications, including a secure communications software platform that is in wide use by the North American power utility industry.
Peter has a Diploma in Programming and Systems Analysis from the Control Data Institute (1983).

He is a strategic leader with a successful record driving innovative and efficient media/marketing campaigns that have resulted in profitable business growth.
Prior to joining SendtoNews, Michael Turnbull served as Senior Media Manager for both Future Shop and Best Buy Canada. During his 8.5 year tenure, Michael was fully responsible for an annual media budget of over $100 million dollars and he developed both brands' annual national strategic brand advertising plans and budgets.
Michael has also held senior media positions at two of Western Canada's largest media agencies, OMD-Vancouver and TBWA. He is well versed in all forms of media and has gained significant marketing experience working on accounts such as ICBC, Save-on-Foods, BCLC, London Drugs and Pearle Vision.
Director, Government Services

Prior to joining SendtoNews, Victor served as Director of Sales for Terapeak/AERS INC., an e-commerce data mining company with specific expertise in 'big data' processing and data visualization, from 2007 to 2011. During his tenure, he played a key role in client relationship development, deal structuring and account management for highly diverse portfolio of customers. Victor was also responsible for closing a number of multi-million dollar contracts and he oversaw sales growth of nearly 100% in four years.
For SendtoNews, Victor is responsible for growing the company's Government Services division, which serves the multimedia distribution and content management requirements for all forms of government, from federal to municipal, in both Canada and the USA. He is also setting up the processes for SendtoNews' sales department, including CRM tools and reporting, so that the department is able to scale appropriately as the company evolves.

Before joining to SendtoNews, Carson was instrumental in scaling the process development at Seeker Solutions (Victoria, BC), a provider of intelligent semantic search applications. During his tenure, he created a strong team of more than 20 staff in key developer and IT roles, managed multiple projects, and also acted as Product Manager on a significant eight-figure strategic partnership.
Multimedia Sports Editor/ North America News Liaison
Leigh is a former television reporter, anchor and producer. Her career has taken her to all four corners of the United States, then back home to Canada. At SendtoNews, she is responsible for all aspects of account management as well as "spreading the word" about our great system and distribution services.
Leigh's career in the news industry began in 2002 as a "one-man band" reporter and anchor at WOAY-TV in southern West Virginia. In 2004, she moved to WETM-TV in Elmira, New York, where she was a main anchor and nightside reporter. In 2007, Leigh headed out west to the sunny skies of New Mexico, where she reported on events around the state for KOAT-TV. Finally, in 2009, she returned to the Pacific Northwest and joined SendtoNews. In addition to her role as Multimedia Sports Editor/ North America News Liaison for SendtoNews, Leigh serves as a fill-in anchor at CHEK News in Victoria, British Columbia.
In 2005, Leigh was honored for investigative reporting from the Syracuse Press Club. She was also part of a team that won a "Best Newscast" award in the same year from the New York State Broadcasters Association.
Leigh has her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Communication, Culture and Information Technology from Queen's University and her Master of Science from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
Software Developer
Gary is a software developer with over five years of experience designing, implementing and testing software utilizing a variety of languages and frameworks. Gary has been developing software for SendtoNews since October 2010. His previous experience, education and ability to adapt quickly to new challenges allow him to handle a variety of responsibilities varying from fixing bugs to implementing algorithms and designing new features.
Prior to working for SendtoNews Gary was a Senior Applications Developer for AT&T Services. From 2006 to 2010 Gary developed enterprise applications using Java, C and other languages to meet the business needs of organizations within AT&T.
Gary has Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Missouri – St Louis (2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2003).
Software Developer
Jason Vogt has over 20 years of programming experience in addition to teaching internet programming at two private colleges. He brings a wide range of programming knowledge to the team and has expertise in both Windows and Open Source development. Jason possesses strong problem solving skills and experience to translate business needs into technology solutions.
In addition to software design, Jason has worked as a Project Manager on more than 50 web development projects, and has managed the IT requirements of an office of 20 staff and the network infrastructure for 500+ websites. Designing and delivering quality database driven web software is one of Jason's key strengths. With a history in competitive sports, he is a strong team player and leader.
Graphics Designer
Kevin is a talented and highly creative graphics artist, designer and illustrator with 17+ years of professional experience in both traditional print and digital graphics design. At SendtoNews, Kevin is responsible for the company's brand management, as well as the production of all print and digital marketing collateral. He also plays a key role in the ongoing evolution of the company's public web site and multimedia management and distribution platform.
In addition to his responsibilities at SendtoNews, Kevin operates his own design firm (VAST Creative) which serves clients in tourism, retail, entertainment, restaurant, manufacturing and high-tech.
Kevin has a unique background as he also has more than 10 years experience in the Information Technology field. He obtained Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification in 2001 and has worked in both network administration and IT management.
