Foreign Affairs

Foreign affairs are what brings the world together as a standing of countries who can work together to make the best possible happen despite nationality, race, religion or anything else. Foreign affairs are dealt with by the ministry of foreign affairs. This is a section of any government that does the work with other countries to better the home country. The ministry is referred to as the department of state by most western societies. In the ministry, there is a foreign minister (known in the western societies as the secretary of state) who deals with the activity abroad.

The foreign policy is the policy that the foreign affairs ministry has put together to deal with other countries. This policy is meant to mainly help the home country and achieve its own goals by using the help or resources of other countries. The foreign policy has to mind the restrictions and interests of the other countries and cultures in order to maintain a healthy respect and relationship with the foreign country. This includes but is not limited to trade with other countries. Foreign ministers have to deal with things like international tensions and even wars.

Foreign ministers will often have to travel abroad. This is to make peace, establish alliance with another country or perhaps call a truce with another country that is in war with the homeland or an ally of the homeland. This usually means needing to meet up face to face with other leaders. Doing this will try to establish the best peace possible among the nations.
